Off-Campus Studies Statistics

Carleton continues to have high levels of participation in off-campus study. During the 2011-12 academic year, 451 students, or 23% of the student body, participated in 120 different programs in 50 countries. Of the 467 students in the graduating class of 2012, 340 (73%) studied off-campus. They participated in 132 different programs in 49 countries.

In the class of 2012, the following majors had 100% of their students participate in off-campus studies:

  • Classical Languages
  • Environmental Studies
  • French & Francophone Studies
  • Latin American Studies
  • Russian
  • Religion

Over 70% of students in these majors studied off-campus:
