Off-Campus Studies Statistics

Carleton continues to have high levels of participation in off-campus study. During the 2006-2007 academic year, 417 students, or 21% of the student body, participated in 127 different programs in 47 countries. Of 463 students in the graduating class of 2007, 306 or 66% had studied off-campus. They had participated in 117 different programs in 47 countries.

The following majors had 100% of their students participate in off-campus studies: Classical Studies, German, Spanish, Russian, French & Francophone Studies, Art History, Studio Art, Asian Studies, Romance Languages and Music. Over 70% of students in these majors studied off-campus: Classical Languages, American Studies, Geology, English, Political Science, History, and International Relations.
