Spring 2008 - French Seminar in Paris
The theme for the 2008 French Studies Seminar is "La joie de vivre." In Paris and on an excursion to the Côte d'Azur, we will explore, challenge, and experience French notions of what it means to live well. You are invited to join us!
FACULTY DIRECTOR
Cathy Yandell, the W.I. and Hulda F. Daniell Professor of French Literature, Language, and Culture, teaches a variety of courses in French and Francophone Studies at Carleton. A specialist in the French Renaissance, she has other academic and non-academic passions too numerous to list here. She has directed programs abroad to Paris, southern France, Greece, and India. Having lived in Paris for over five years, she looks forward to introducing (or reintroducing) students to this spectacular city.
