The November 6 Goodsell Observatory Open House will be enhanced with some astronomy talks by Carleton astronomers. Join us for "Galileo and His Legacy," including the first astronomical telescope and a modern family-friendly, inexpensive telescope named after him; and "What Carleton Astronomers Do Today." If it is clear we will point the telescopes at stars, planets, and galaxies until 9 p.m. The talks will be held whether clear or cloudy.
