The answer to last week's trivia question was marine science. From the (very few) entries received, no one submitted the correct answer. That means the Goodbye Blue Monday gift certificate will be waiting for a winner in a future week.
Trivia question for this week:
Although last week's question indicates that many physics majors go on to graduate school, many graduates also choose to go directly into the work force. In the past five years which of the following is NOT a position that Carleton physics major has taken after graduation: Minnesota Math Corps tutor, science teacher at a charter middle school, Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda, engineer at Seagate, engineer at Bentley Instruments, engineering associate at Medtronic, technical support at Epic systems, developer at BlackBag Technologies, research technician at Los Alamos National Laboratory, research associate at Pacific Northwest National Lab, research assistant at Brigham & Women's Hospital, investment banking analyst in the Clean Technology and Renewables Group at Piper Jaffray.
Please submit your answer (along with your name and e-mail address) to the envelope labeled Radiations trivia outside Melissa's office (Olin 325). From the correct answers submitted by Wednesday morning at 9 am, one respondent will be chosen at random to receive the prize.
