Internship Update - 7/31/08
- Republican Convention Interns
Politico seeks interns to assist its busy newsroom during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Interns would be expected to attend an introductory meeting on Sunday, Aug. 31 followed by work in Politico's convention office and events from Sept. 1-4. Interns will help with a variety of tasks, including greeting guests, assisting with media hits, preparing for events and doing basic research. While the work will not be glamorous, it will put interns at the center of the action. This is not a paying position.
Please send a cover letter and resume to Barbara Martinez, Deputy Managing Editor, at bmartinez@politico.com with the subject line "convention intern." We prefer applicants with journalism or politics experience.
