2012 Summer Undergraduate Research Program

The University of Massachusetts Medical School Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity is a non-credit, ten-week, structured research experience.

The program consists of "hands-on" laboratory research experience with an investigator serving as a mentor, role model and advisor.

Sponsored by the Office of School Services, the Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity program is funded by either the National Institute of Health (NIH) or the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) UMMS Office of Research.

Applications must be submitted online. Applications will be available on November 1st 2011. The application submission deadline is March 16, 2012.  Supplemental application materials(LOR's, Electronic Transcripts, Resume, Personal Statement) can be emailed to
