Certificate of Advanced Study
The Certificate of Advanced Study is the equivalent of a minor in a foreign language.
To achieve the Certificate of Advanced Study in Russian students must
- Fulfill the general requirements (scroll all the way down) in the following course distribution: six courses beyond 103, including 205 and two courses at the 330 level (346 excluded).
- Additional courses may be chosen from among other offerings in the Russian section, History 240-241, Economics 231, and Political Science 323.
You are required to submit an application listing courses completed and intended no later than fall of the senior year. Applications are available in the department offices.
Certain courses from programs abroad may be applied toward the certificate. For further information, contact the Russian faculty.
