The skills acquired in the SoAn major prepare students for a wide variety of opportunities outside Carleton. Many of our students take advantage of internships, fellowships and off-campus studies programs while enrolled at Carleton.  After graduation, some of our alumni join the workforce immediately, while others build on their SoAn skills with further technical training in other areas (medicine, law, social work, etc.).
