Most SOAN classes require papers of varying length and scope. Professors in the SOAN Department are generally very good about inviting the reference staff into class to explain the facilities found in the Carleton Library. We will leave it up to them to continue to provide more detailed explanations than we can provide here.

In particular, only periodicals that are dedicated to, or include a significant number of articles by, sociologists and anthropologists are included.
