José Luis Pardo is one of the leading philosophers in post-Franco Spain. A prolific writer, he teaches philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of Madrid's Universidad Complutense. Translator of other continental philosophers such as Gilles Deleuze, Michel Serres, and Emmanuel Lévinas, he writes frequently for Spain leading newspaper—El País.
