Browse the collection

Description

The Student-Made Book Collection includes books made as final projects by students in the College's course "From Gutenberg to Gates: History and Practice of the Book" taught by German professor Roger Paas. Each year that the course is offered students are asked to produce a book in an edition of at least two, one to keep and one to add to the collection. These books are made using a variety of techniques, but each must include some hand-set typography and at least one illustration using an illustration technique studied in class.
