I am pleased to announce the Digital Collections website, where you can access the wide variety of online collections maintained by Carleton College. The site's offerings include historical collections like archival photographs, documents, and audio/video; alumni magazines; and zoobooks. They also include teaching collections like the Art & Art History department's Visual Resources Collection and class-specific resources like American Sublime, California Images, and others.

The site currently has ten collections with thousands of items. More items are being added regularly, and we expect to add additional collections over time.

Carleton has developed an extension for ContentDM which allows users to download the full sized version of any images they add to their favorites. This code works with ContentDM v4 and above, though it has only been tested on a Linux/Apache based server. It requires Perl and a few extra modules all outlined in the documentation.
