The Haldore Hanson (Carleton College '35) collection of photographs taken in China during the years 1937 and 1938 are now available to researchers outside of Carleton. Take a few minutes to look through these fascinating images of the Chinese conflict with Japanese troops, the Long March, and early photographs of the future founders of the People’s Republic of China.
The original photographs are part of the Carleton Library’s Special Collections. Please direct requests for duplication to the Curator, Kristi Wermager (kwermage@carleton.edu).
