Description

The Victorian Book Arts collection is comprised of digital images of book illustrations from rare, early, and contemporary editions of Victorian texts in the Carleton Rare Books collection and professor Susan Jaret McKinstry's personal library. The collection was created to support the teaching of the English department course, The Victorian Novel, and contains illustrations from the works of Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Hardy and others.
