Sexual Misconduct Support Team

The Sexual Misconduct Support Team is highly trained in responding to sexual misconduct, supporting students affected by sexual misconduct, and navigating Carleton policies and processes. You may contact any of these individuals to discuss your questions or concerns.

When you contact them, they can:

  • Discuss your options in reporting Sexual Misconduct.
  • Help you complete a “Community Concern” form, informing the Dean of Students office of sexual misconduct or concerning behavior.
  • Answer questions about the Student Complaint Process.
  • Assist and advise you through the Student Complaint Process.
  • Connect you with support people and resources.
  • Talk with you privately, but will be required to complete basic, non-identifying information on a “Community Concern” form.

When calling to schedule an appointment, please inform the receptionist that you are calling regarding a sexual harassment or assault issue to assure that you receive an appointment as quickly as possible.

When you contact them, they can:

  • Provide confidential counseling and therapy if you have been affected by, or accused of, sexual misconduct.
  • Offer consultations for students, faculty, and staff who have concerns about other students.
  • Discuss your options in reporting or filing a complaint.
  • Connect you with a Student Health and Counseling-sponsored survivor support group.

The Coordinator of the Student Complaint Process is the main entry point to the Complaint Process and coordinates the overall organization of the complaint process. When you contact her, she can:

  • Start the Complaint Process.
  • Walk you through the steps of the Complaint Process.
  • Explain what you can expect when filing or responding to a complaint.
  • Discuss your options in reporting Sexual Misconduct.
  • Connect you with support people and resources.
