Have your cell phone handy before you begin the process, and make sure it has signal. You will need your cell phone during the sign-up process.
When you click the signup link below, you'll be prompted to log in at a Carleton login screen. Use your Carleton username and password.
When you see the screen below, enter your cell phone number and a non-Carleton email address:
Next steps: When you click the "Create Account" button, you will be redirected to a page on the e2campus site asking for a validation code. A text message will be sent to your phone containing a four digit validation code in the body of the message.
Some phones also display a five digit number as the sender of the message. Do not use this number!
Look for a four digit validation code, and enter that into the form.
If you do not receive the message on your phone, there is a button on the page to have it re-send the validation code.
