Each location on campus has a designated emergency shelter area. For your safety, familiarize yourself with the shelter locations for the places where you spend time frequently.
Alumni Guest House: Lower level corridors
Arts Union: TBD
Boliou Hall: Lower level corridors
Burton Hall: Lower level corridors
Center for Math and Computing: Lower level corridors
Cowling Gymnasium: Lower level corridor and indoor tennis court
Davis Hall: Lower level corridor
Evans Hall: West side of Lower level corridor.
Faculty Club: Lower level corridors away from windows in the East and West wings
Faculty Club Annex: Go to Faculty Club Emergency Shelter area
Goodhue Hall: Lower level corridor
Goodsell Observatory: Lower level corridor
Gould Memorial Library: Second floor South wall
Hulings Hall: Lower level corridors
Laird Hall: Lower level corridors
Laird Stadium: Lower level inside locker/class rooms
Language and Dining Center: Main floor corridor adjacent to restrooms Dish Room if available
Leighton Hall: Lower level corridor
Mudd Hall: Lower level corridor
Music and Drama Center: Lower level corridors
Musser Hall: First floor North corridor
Myers Hall: Main floor corridor
Nourse Hall: Lower level corridor and laundry room
Old Music Hall: Bottom of South stairwell

Off Campus Houses: Seek shelter in the lowest level/basement of the house. If there is no basement, go to an inner hallway, a smaller inner room, or a closet. Keep away from all windows.
Outdoors: Try to get inside and seek a small protected space with no windows. If you cannot get inside, crouch for protection beside a strong structure, or lie flat in a ditch or low-lying area and cover your head and neck with your arms or a piece of clothing.
