"[Re]reading and Discussing James Baldwin with Lawrie Balfour"
Lawrie Balfour, guest lecturer on James Baldwin for the Perlman LTC lunch today, will lead this spring faculty/staff discussion. Her book, The Evidence of Things Not Said: James Baldwin and the Promise of American Democracy, and selected Baldwin essays are the basis for this book discussion group. Co-facilitators are Harry McKinley Williams, Bryn-Jones Distinguished Teaching Professor of History, Elizabeth Ciner, Associate Dean of the College.
