Linda Rossi, Optic Nerve, an installation
Photographer and Carleton professor orchestrates images and objects to evoke the history of Goodsell, heavenly bodies, natural phenomena, trains and the passage of time. For this poetic installation, the artist selected glass plate slides from the Carleton astronomy collection and shot images through the microscope and telescope. - 5:00 in Hulings Hall Atrium
Meg Ojala, Twigonometry Triptych
Meg Ojala, photographer and St. Olaf professor, has created a grand photographic triptych of Patrick Doughterty’s Twigonometry, 2003. This large sculpture, situated on the north side of the Bald Spot, will remain intact until November 2006, two years longer than its projected lifetime.
