Pre-Frosh Service Trip Participants Raise Money

September 9th, 2005

From Laura Riehle-Merrill, Assistant Director of Campus Activities and ACT Coordinator:

The Carleton Pre-Frosh Service Trip group held a carnival on Thursday, September 8, for new Carleton students and their families to raise funds for Carleton students affected by Hurricane Katrina. The pre-frosh group ended up raising approximately $250, which will go to helping the Carleton students in need. The group had a wonderful time organizing the event and was very happy to start off the year helping their fellow classmates.
