Javits Fellowship (**NOT BEING AWARDED IN 2011-12)
Purpose: The Jacobs K. Javits Program provides fellowships to students of superior academic ability--selected on the basis of demonstrated achievement, financial need, and exceptional promise--to undertake the study at the doctoral and Master of Fine Arts level in selected fields of arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Note: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required as part of the application for a Javits fellowship in order to complete the financial need calculation.
