Each year, volunteers from the graduating class rally their classmates to make a donation to the Senior Gift. This is an opportunity for seniors to show their support for the College's mission and take part in a tradition of stewardship and philanthropy established by the alumni who came before them.

Reasons to participate

• You don't need to give a large amount to make a difference. Every gift counts!
• Annual support from Carleton alumni helps to keep Carleton, Carleton.
• Unrestricted funds from the Alumni Annual Fund help to make up the difference between the price of tuition and the actual cost of a Carleton education.
• Alumni participation rates help to bring in funds from other sources. The percentage of alumni who give back to Carleton is looked at as a measure of satisfaction with the College. High rates of alumni participation encourage grants from foundations, motivate more alumni to give, and increase our ranking.
• Your experiences at Carleton have been supported by past generations of Carleton students. You can "pay it forward" and help support future generations of Carleton students.
