About the Committee

Brief Description/Function

The Budget Committee will be a standing subcommittee of the College Council. The Budget Committee will advise the vice president and treasurer in the construction of the annual budget and in the development of a longer-term financial plan. To that end it will conduct hearings and make recommendations to Council throughout the process of construction of the budget. The Council will make the final budgetary recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

Composition

The committee will consist of the dean of the college as chair, the vice president and treasurer, one faculty member and one student member of the Council, one faculty member elected by the faculty for a three-year term of service, one student nominated by CSA Senate, and such other members of the community as will be determined by the three Presidents.
