Brief Description

This committee reviews the programs and directions of the Career Center, processes suggestions on policies and other ideas that might be adopted by the Career Center.

Mission Statement

The Career Center Committee meets with the director of the Career Center to advise, support and assist in carrying out the Career Center’s mission. The mission of the Career Center is to teach students how to plan, prepare for and pursue their life, career and educational goals.

Composition

No experience necessary but student members should represent a cross-section of student concerns. Members will be chosen spring term for the following year.

Meeting Frequency

Approximately 2-3 hours in meetings and 2-3 hours in preparation per term.

Jurisdiction

Advisory committee to Career Center.
