CEDI Open House
February 17, 2011 at 11:57 amOn February 17th, CEDI held an open house. President Poskanzer passionately renewed CEDI's charge to lead the Carleton community's work to live up to Carleton's promise and potential. "Every member of our community should to have the opportunity to take full advantage of all that Carleton has to offer—to drink deeply at the cup of academic, intellectual, social engagement and growth." In keeping with this spirit poster sessions reflected the work of over 40 community members that serve on CEDI task forces and action teams. Poster sessions presented work in the areas of: learning environment in the classroom learning environment outside the classroom, sexual misconduct, workplace environment, campus concerns and procedures, and campus community expectations.
Implementation of New Sexual Misconduct Proposal
September 27, 2010 at 11:38 amIn an act that signaled the culmination of years of work, the College Council unanimously approved a the creation of the Sexual Misconduct Committee. This act served to simultaneously streamline the work of two committees doing similar work but, more importantly, add the Sexual Misconduct Committee as a permanent element of the College's governance structure. The vote was accompanied by received an update on the College's new sexual misconduct adjudication and implementation process. Details of the session are contained in the College Council minutes. Chili@Noon - Campus Climate: Continuing the Conversation

This was a presentation by CEDI and the Institutional Research and Assessment Office that addressed the question: Are all Carleton students getting the most from their undergraduate experience?
CEDI Summit with President Poskanzer
