Society of Jewish Ethics

The Society of Jewish Ethics, a non-profit organization, needs your support! While membership dues and conference registration fees comprise the bulk of our income, these items fail to cover all of our operating expenses. We would be happy to accept donations for general purposes, or to underwrite any of the expenses listed below. Your gift is tax-exempt and will be gratefully acknowledged publicly at the meeting.

• Breakfasts for the authors of our "breakfast with authors" session: $180
• Travel expenses for the plenary speaker: $500
• Kosher meals on Shabbat (assumes 20 people in attendance): $4,000 total
  • Friday night dinner: $1,800
  • Saturday breakfast: $1,000
  • Saturday lunch: $1,200
• Subsidies for students or young faculty members to attend the annual meeting: $500 per student/faculty subsidy
