Entries are now invited for the twentieth Calvin & Rose G Hoffman Prize for a distinguished publication on Christopher Marlowe, to be awarded in November 2009.
The closing date for entries is 1st September 2009.

The nineteenth Calvin & Rose G Hoffman Prize for a distinguished publication on Christopher Marlowe has been awarded jointly to:
Dr David Mateer for his essay ‘New Sightings of Christopher Marlowe in London’
and to
Dr Goran Stanivukovic for his essay ‘Remember Me: Marlowe and the Pleasure of Influence in Shakespeare’.
Last year's winners were:
Peter Farey, M.A. for his submission entitled ‘‘Hoffman and the Authorship’
and
Timothy D. Crowley for his submission entitled: 'Arms and the Boy: Marlowe's Aeneas and the Parody of Imitation in Dido, Queen of Carthage'
The Calvin & Rose G Hoffman Marlowe Memorial Trust is a charity dedicated to research into the life and work of Christopher Marlowe (no. 289971).
