Claude Lévi-Strauss (1908-2009), the “father of modern anthropology” and a founder of structuralism, was one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century. The round table will discuss Lévi-Strauss’s life, his thought, and his legacy in anthropology, ethnography, myth studies, linguistics and literary criticism.
