Join members of the Carleton community every month as we explore the tools of data visualization.

How it works:

  • we make data available to you - a new dataset every month or so
  • you play with the data and make a visualization (chart, graph, table, map, etc.)
  • we all bring our visualizations to the IdeaLab on the first Friday of the month at 4:30 pm
  • we all look and talk about the visualizations with other interested folks

Who should come?: You should come! Everyone interested in talking about visual displays of information (graphs, charts, tables, etc.) is welcome.

You don’t have to make a visualization to participate - however, the more visualizations we have, the better.

When: First Friday of the month, 4:30 - 6:00pm.

Where: The IdeaLab in the Weitz Center for Creativity
