Going Global: Global Engagement at Carleton
From site: Learning and Teaching Center
What should Global Engagement at Carleton consist of? With support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Carleton undertook to study this question throughout the 2010-11 academic year. Several groups involved in the Global Engagement Initiative (GEI) have generated ideas with implications for the curriculum, student life, faculty development, service, off-campus studies and, yes, even comps! Presenters: Scott Carpenter, Professor of French and Francophone Studies and Director of the Global Engagement Initiative; Sigi Leonhard, Professor of German and Director of Cross-Cultural Studies; Katie Ryor, Professor of Art History and Director of Asian Studies. Lunch provided for 50.
