How do I add an image to a lesson?

Adding images to CAN8 lessons is easy, but only if you follow the rules.

The Rules:

  • Images must be .gif, .jpg, or .bmp file type
  • GIFs may not be animated
  • Images may be up to 320x240 pixels
  • All files bigger than this will be cropped
  • Only one image per screen can be imported, use a photo editor to combine images into one file

Video in CAN8, shown is a Teaching screen.

You can use a photo editor to prepare your images for use in CAN8. Once they are ready, save them in the appropriate format to your hard drive.

HINT: In order to make it easy to find this file in the import screen in CAN8, it's best to save your image files in a folder on the root level of C:\.

Within CAN8, go to the File menu and choose Import > Image. Then use the navigation box that appears to navigate to the location of your image.
