Mulberry
Installation (Windows)
Installing and configuring Mulberry for your home computer is relatively simple. Follow these instructions and you should be good to go!
- Download Mulberry for Faculty (you will need to use your Carleton username and password to download).
- Open the folder and Double click the Mulberry_V4_0_3.exe installer icon.
- After the installation is complete, you should be able to find Mulberry in your Programs menu. It is already preconfigured to login to Carleton's email servers.
- Go to File > Preferences to set your email signature or configure a mailbox to copy your outgoing messages.
Notes
If you are using Mulberry from off campus, you will need to make a slight change to the SMTP outgoing mail server settings in order to send mail. The easiest way to do this is to do the following:- In Mulberry, go to File > Preferences
- Click on the Advanced button just below OK and Cancel buttons on the right
- You should already be seeing the Accounts tab (click it if you are not)
- Where it says Account: IMAP, open this pull-down menu and choose SMTP
- A little lower on this screen, you should see:Server: smtp.carleton.edu. In this box, change it so that it says: Server: smtp.carleton.edu:587
- Click OK
