These are basic instructions on how to use Wenlin, a program for reading documents in Chinese with dictionary support. For more information about using Wenlin, see the Help menu in the program or the company website, Wenlin Institute.

Opening a Document

1. Start Wenlin by going to Programs > Wenlin.
2. Go to File -> Open....
3. Select the file you want to open and click Open.

If you have any problems opening a file in the above manner, follow the following steps:

1. Open the file in Microsoft Word, To do so, open Word and then go to File -> Open. Select the file you want to open and click Open.
2. Select the text you want to open in Wenlin. To select all the text, press Ctrl + A.
3. Copy the selected text by going to Edit > Copy in the menu.
4. Paste the text in Wenlin by going to Edit > Paste in the menu in Wenlin.
