Emmanuel Bakary Daou (b. 1960)

[Emmanuel Bakary Daou (b. 1960)]Emmanuel Bakary Daou, a photojournalist who also creates more personal, artistic work, received a degree from the National Institute of the Arts in Bamako. He played a founding role in the association Djaw-mali (Images of Mali) and the Digital-Club, for professional photographers. Exhibiting widely, he participated in the 1998, 2001, and 2007 Bamako Biennales, winning the third Seydou Keïta Prize in 1998.


Emmanuel Bakary Daou, photo-reporter qui crée également des oeuvres plus personnelles et artistiques, est un diplômé de l’Institut National des Arts des Arts de Bamako. Il a joué un grand rôle dans la fondation de l’Association Mali Diaw (Images du Mali) et de Digital Club, pour les photographes professionnels. Ses nombreuses expositions, y compris les Biennales 98, 2001 et 2007, lui ont valu le Prix Seydou Keïta en 1998.
