Lowe, a Philadelphia-based artist, has used felt to craft an enormous inflated whale and a room-sized moon. He now embraces neon. The giant neon object, somewhat spermatozoan in shape, is a dynamic meditation on creation and procreation. Comet: God Particle was inspired by scientific speculation that comets may have brought water and life itself to earth.
