    Panel Discussion: South Asian Tsunami Effects
    Carleton students, faculty and staff joined in a panel discussion to discuss the South Asian tsunami and its far-reaching effects. The faculty and staff shed light on geologic, religious and political aspects of the disaster, while the students, all from countries directly affected, focused on their own personal reactions. The panel was a powerful reminder of the sheer magnitude of this disaster, and that its impact is felt even halfway around the world.
