Laura McAfee '88 was quoted in an April 6 Washington Post article titled "The cruelest month: If it's April, it must be agony" about the role of springtime campus visits in making college choices. McAfee said that her campus visit to Carleton influenced her to choose the College over her original first choice school. McAffee majored in English at Carleton.
