A Washington Post article in the Oct. 19 edition of the paper entitled "The nerd turns: A cappella singers suddenly the popular kids on campus" mentions the nationally-known singing group, which has been in existence since 1955. The article mentions the Singing Knights' cover of Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" and the fact the YouTube video has received more than five million views. The article talks about the rise in popularity in a cappella groups outside of the Ivy League and national liberal arts schools, where such groups such as the Singing Knights have been the norm for decades.
