Carleton's graduation rate ranks among the best in the country for private, liberal arts colleges, according to an article on CBSMoneyWatch.com. The list, generated by CBS's Lynn O'Shaughnessy, used the federal governement's database (IPEDS), ranks Carleton's four-year graduation rate 10th at 89 percent.
