Photo Feature: Oresteia
Carleton's premier theater and dance groups, the Players and the Semaphore Repertory Dance Company, collaborated to create a new adaptation of Aeschylus’ trilogy of Ancient Greek tragedies. The event was a huge hit, performing to sold-out crowds of students, faculty, and Northfield residents alike. Student photographer, Abigail Han was on hand to capture the unique performance.

Video Feature: Greg Smith Book Excerpt
Gregory Smith, the Lloyd P. Johnson-Norwest Professor of English and the Liberal Arts, recently won a 2012 Minnesota Book Award for his collection of short stories, The Law of Miracles and Other Stories. We have a video excerpt of Smith reading from one of the stories. His book is available at the Carleton Bookstore, either on campus or via online ordering.

Carleton Iconic Schiller Bust to Grace Series Finale of Desperate Housewives
Whether it's been hitching a ride with President Bill Clinton or appearing on "The Colbert Report," Carleton's favorite deceased German poet, Johann Friedrich von Schiller, has maintained the same, stoic gaze. Now, fans of the ABC hit series "Desperate Housewives" will witness that steely look when Schiller makes his appearance on the series finale Sunday night, courtesy of the show's executive producer and Carleton graduate Bob Daily '82.
