• Seventeen Carls are currently on Peace Corps assignments, ranking the college 20th among all small colleges. Since the Peace Corps' inception, 426 Carleton alumni have joined the its ranks.

• Carleton is second in the number of students who go on to earn Ph.D.s in all areas after graduation.
