Frequently Asked Questions

Is my personal property insured anywhere on campus (your room or storage)?

Carleton College does not insure and is not responsible for loss or damage from any cause to the personal property of students (including items in storage).

An optional insurance program is available to help protect your personal property in the event that it is damaged or stolen.  For example, if your laptop is stolen or damaged, you may be eligible to have it replaced at full cost subject to a $100.00 deductible.   Visit GradGuard Renters Insurance for additional information.
