Steven Schier, the Dorothy H. and Edward C. Congdon Professor of Political Science, was quoted in a March 25 Christian Science Moniter article titled “The Arnold Effect: Senate race tests his coattails” about the upcoming California Senate race between former Secretary of State Bill Jones and Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer. “The question is, is this a new era of Republican possibilities or does it go no further than [Schwarzenegger’s] popularity?” asked Schier.
