Schmitt-Harsh Publishes an Article in Urban Forestry & Urban Greening
Mikaela Schmitt-Harsh, Robert A. Oden, Jr. Postdoctoral Fellow for Innovation in the Liberal Arts in Environmental Studies, published an article titled “Private residential urban forest structure and carbon storage in a moderate-sized urban area in the Midwest, United States” in the journal Urban Forestry & Urban Greening. The article examines the private residential urban forests of Bloomington, Indiana, and the carbon storage services they provide.
The article was co-authored with colleagues at the Center for the Study of Institutions, Population and Environmental Change (CIPEC) at Indiana University.
