Joel Weisberg (physics) research and article receives international attention.

Joel Weisberg, the Herman and Gertrude Mosier Stark Professor of Physics and Astronomy and the Natural Sciences, co-authored a paper with colleagues from Berkeley and Australia titled “Discovery of pulsed OH emission stimulated by a pulsar” and published in Science Magazine. Kyle Willett ’05 and Kassandra “Kassie” Wells ’06 assisted with the observations and analyses leading to this paper while they were doing research in Australia last December. The paper prompted a companion commentary article in Science magazine, and reports in New Scientist magazine, the SydneyMorning Herald, the Australian Broadcasting Company’s Web site and an interview on a science program for German Public Radio.
