Susannah Ottaway, associate professor of history, gave a lecture titled “Images of Old Age in Eighteenth-Century England” at an Interdisciplinary Conference on Aging sponsored by the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, in Marbella, Spain. She also presented a paper titled “Poor Relief as an Essential Human Right during the Enligtenment” at the North American Conference on British Studies.
