Lens award

The Lens, Carleton’s new magazine of politics and culture, recently won second place in the non-weekly newspaper category at the National College Newspaper Convention in Los Angeles. Three Carleton students represented Carleton College at the conference, which was sponsored by the Associated Collegiate Press. The Lens won for its inaugural issue, which feataured the writing of more than 20 Carls and explored the question: Through what ethic lens do we view American politics and culture?
