Carol Rutz
Carol Rutz, director of the writing program, gave a paper at the 2006 Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Conference at Clemson University this month titled “Leading the Way: WAC as a Catalyst for Communication in Physics.” Rutz also has been elected to a three-year term on the executive board of the Council of Writing Program Administrators. Her term begins in July 2006; she is the only board member representing a liberal arts college.
