Reason 4.5 has been officially released! Key updates / features include:
- Responsive Design – minimal,unstyled theme and responsive template
- Video improvements – Integration with Vimeo, YouTube, Zencoder, and Kaltura
- SEO – Canonicalized links, XML sitemap generation

Reason 4.4 has been officially released. Key updates / features include:
- TinyMCE is the new default WYSIWYG editor - comes with image and page link plugins (More in Developer Notebook).
- Social Sharing for publications and new Social Account type (More in Developer Notebook).
- Improved protection against CSRF and XSS attacks.

Reason 4.4 will be released in early August, mostly because I'm on the North Shore, but also because a few things are still coming together for the TinyMCE integration feature.

We held what is now a semi-annual hack/doc event at Luther College on June 3 and 4, 2013. Some highlights:

We now have available for download a Reason 4.3 Virtual Machine (VM).
The VM is provided in Open Virtualization Format (OVF), compatible with VirtualBox, VMWare, and other virtualization software.
When you launch the VM, based on CentOS, it will get an IP address via DHCP and inform you of that IP on the login screen. You can then visit your Reason CMS instance in your favorite web browser.

Reason 4.3 is out!
Thanks to contributors from Beloit, Luther, Kalamazoo, and Carleton, this release features exciting new integration with Kaltura and Google Analytics, and a host of other improvements. Between Reason 4.2 and 4.3 we had 342 commits from 9 authors, with 751 changed files.

Reason 4.1 was officially released today. The new version contains improvements to the image content manager, administrative interface enhancements coded at the Reason HackDoc in December 2011, several new modules, and tons of bug fixes. We are also pleased to launch a new User Documentation site.

The Reason LiveCD has been updated to the latest release (4.0).
The updated LiveCD is based on OpenSUSE 11.4, and the Reason CMS source is a clone of reason_package @ GitHub.

The updated version of the LiveCD is now available. It contains a preconfigured, boot and go build of Reason 4 Beta 8. This is a great tool for evaluating Reason without installing it to a server.
