Reason developers from Carleton and Luther Colleges will be at the 10th Annual GusDay Conference on the Carleton College campus on Friday, December 4. We'll be showing off Reason at an exhibit booth during the vendor sessions and available for questions throughout the day. We also plan to debut version 1.1 of the Reason LiveCD, which provides a simple way to test out Reason.
The LiveCD will run the nightly build of Reason 4 Beta 8, and offers a full fledged install of Reason for testing purposes. The LiveCD should be bootable on most computers, and can be updated using subversion. The LiveCD runs a custom build of OpenSUSE and is built with SUSE Studio.
A special thanks to Carleton student Andrew Bacon '11 for his work making the LiveCD a simple, attractive, and full-featured way to test out Reason. A link to download the LiveCD .iso file will be posted on this site as soon as its available.
